Wordoku

Wordoku

Wordoku is Sudoku with letters instead of numbers. The live board keeps the familiar 9x9 logic but shows nine clear uppercase letters for a calmer word-style puzzle.

Why Wordoku fits this site

Traditional Sudoku has strong rules but little theme. Wordoku keeps the same solving engine and adds a light word-oriented layer by replacing 1 through 9 with letters.

For older adults, this works only if the letters stay large, high contrast, and easy to tell apart. That is why the live mode uses curated nine-letter sets rather than small decorative symbols.

How to start

Choose Wordoku 9x9 from the board size controls, then tap a square and choose a letter from the large pad.

Number keys still work for players who prefer a keyboard, and the matching letter keys work too when the selected letter is in the Wordoku set.

  • Use Easy for a first letter Sudoku.
  • Use Undo freely after an accidental tap.
  • Print a large sheet if paper solving is more comfortable.
