Phone screens are the hardest place to keep Sudoku truly large print. Large Sudoku keeps the board scrollable rather than shrinking every cell into tiny type.
A full 9x9 large print board may be wider than a phone screen. Horizontal scrolling is better than making every cell too small to read.
Mini Sudoku is often the better phone choice for quick play.
Mini uses a 4x4 board and numbers 1 through 4, so the puzzle can remain large without the same amount of scrolling.
For older adults on phones, Mini is often a better first experience than forcing a full classic board into a cramped screen.
